SMAP、4回目大トリに意欲 客席から初歌唱も

人気グループ・SMAPが30日、東京・渋谷のNHKホールで『第62回NHK紅白歌合戦』のリハーサルに臨み、出演者、客席全体を巻き込んだパフォーマンスを披露した。19回目の出場で初めて、客席で歌う演出に木村拓哉は「デビュー前に客席でピンクの小旗を振ったことはあるけど、SMAPとしては初めて」とバックダンサー時代の体験を告白。中居正広も「あのときは全く映っていなかった」と笑わせた。

　4回目となる大トリに向けた意気込みを問われた木村は「紅白の最後に歌うことがどれだけすごいことかは自分たちが一番よくわかっています。最後がしっかり締まるよう、そして、東日本大震災で傷ついた人たちの前へ向かう力になれるよう、精一杯歌いたい」と意欲を語り、稲垣吾郎は「日本を代表するエンターテインメント番組の最後に歌わせていただくのは恐縮です」と、デビュー20周年を迎えてなお、謙虚に気を引き締めた。

　SMAPは『SMAP AID 紅白SP』と題し、「not alone～幸せになろうよ～」～「オリジナル スマイル」のメドレーを歌唱する。「心がつながるような曲を選んだ」という香取慎吾は「SMAPが歌って一人でも多くの方が笑顔になってもらえれば」と期待を込め、草なぎ剛も「来年に向けて少しでも元気になってもらえるよう、あすは頑張ります」と宣言。中居は「以下同文。4人が全部言ってくれました」と笑わせながらも「20周年の節目に、あらためて考えさせられる1年でした。いろんな方々に恩返ししたい」と話した。

　『第62回NHK紅白歌合戦』は「あしたを歌おう。」をテーマに31日午後7時15分から午後11時45分まで放送（途中、5分間のニュース中断あり）。これまでの対戦成績は紅28勝、白33勝。
